As we all know, starting out in a new language can be discouraging. On the plus side, it’s comforting to know that no matter what, if you continue to practice and put in the hours, you WILL get better! That being said, it can be difficult to keep the bigger picture in mind when even ordering a sandwich at SubWay seems impossible. That’s exactly why I started a language V-Log.
It started back in 2011 when I moved to Argentina. I traveled down South with the express intent of improving my Spanish. I wanted to SEE my results, not just return knowing that somehow I “got better.” I started out by making a video every week, just talking to my webcam, saying whatever came to mind. Eventually, I just made a new entry whenever I felt like speaking the language.
BUT, seeing is believing. Here are some highlights, just so you can have a basic idea of what I mean. (Watch the entire thing if you like, I’m just giving you broad brush strokes!)
RUSSIAN – Major differences here. Good stuff in the ways of progress!
SPANISH – Throwback to 2011! Started off with a solid base, but I’m refining it more and more.
